The International Terminal
Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is more popularly known as
the Dum Dum Airport. This airport was set up in 1920. It's a small airport and has two
terminals - domestic and international, which are adjacent to each other. The airport is
22kms (14 miles) from the city center.
Air travel in India is a luxury so airports are not very busy. Kolkata airport is well
connected to other parts of India. A few international airlines also have their services
through Kolkata. The Ashok Airport Hotel is a few minutes drive from the terminal
